Peter Unterthurner particularly enjoys bringing his artworks into people's everyday lives. Between the Chapel of St. Barbara and the old church tower of La Val (Wengen) in South Tyrol's Badia valley, walkers encountered four Alpenmadonnas in August 2023. The small-format pictures hung unobtrusively from four willow trees. Visitors pass by or paused, surprised, delighted, sometimes deeply moved.
